Hip Hip Hooray!

with lois steinberg, phd, ciyt, c-iayt & Hermann Traitteur, md, ciyt

There is a “geography” pertaining to the hips that may involve referred pain from the sacrum, the femur/acetabular junction, the labrum, the pubis symphysis joint, scoliosis derived hip pain, and the adjoining connections with the knees, ankles, and feet. This makes modifications for hip problems during class more complicated than other issues.

This course will help you understand the geography of the hips, and give you tips for how to help your students with hip problems. The first half is taught by Hermann. For the second half, Lois guides you through basic adaptive asanas for problem hips.
